CarolinaExplorer Fishing Report 12-19 Great action with Red Fish, Black Drum, Trout, and Whiting!!

Merry Christmas to everyone. I Hope you all have a Safe and Happy Holiday.  The fishing has remained good over the past week. Lots of red fish and black drum to be caught. We have been using Gulp shrimp on 3/8 jig heads to catch the reds.  Soaking shrimp and mud minnow has also worked well.  There are a few trout still hanging around. Lots of small fish with a few bigger fish in the mix. Live shrimp, D.O.A shrimp and mirro-lures have been landing the trout. The sea mullet are still in the river. Fresh shrimp on a bottom rig will land these tasty hard fighting fish.  If you are interested in a trip, Give me a call 910-264-1807  and we will pick a day with the best tides for your fishing trip.

Jeff and Mr. Gallamore sharing a great father and son fishing trip.

Mr. Gallamore with a nice slot sized red fish. He caught lots of nice red fish on this trip.

At the end of the day Jeff and his Dad landed Plenty of reds, with three keepers along with some black drum.

Joe and Pam fished hard this day landing 60 nice red fish.  They took home several nice keepers on this trip.

Pam’s first red fish of the day. Not the biggest, but a fun four spotted red.

Pam with her first keeper red fish, a 19 incher.  Lots of spots on this guy.  Joe was to busy catching fish to get his picture taken.

Kelly with a nice double on black drum and red drum, almost at the same time.  We hit a spot and had a frenzy of action.  We fished several more spots and had plenty of action.  This lady could fish. Happy Birthday Kelly.

Well as you can see we are still catching fish and having a blast. Give me a call at 910-264-1807 to book your next fishing adventure.

Happy Holidays,
