Sorry for the delay in the fishing reports. Thankfully I have been fishing and the fish are biting. Inshore we have been catching lots of redfish on lures and live bait. The new flatsboat has us fishing with plenty of room and in style. We have also been catching flounder and a few trout while fishing for the reds. All this action has been taking place in the calm protected water of the flats and creeks. If you are looking to get out of the crowds and enjoy some great fishing action, then a trip aboard the Redfish Explorer or Carolina Explorer is for you…..
Just off the coast the spanish mackerel and blues have been biting in great numbers. We have been trolling just off the beach or casting spoons at breaking fish on the surface. The flounder and sharks have also been around the wrecks and reefs just off the coast. If you want to try for something a little bigger the kings are cruising the beachs and just offshore at this moment.
Now is a great time to plan you family fishing trip. Call today 910-264-1807.
