On the piers catching a few flounder, some nice catches of Virginia mullet, blowfish, small bluefish, & stingrays.
In the waterways, river, & bays catching red drum, black drum, a few speckled trout, gray trout, & having some very good catches of Virginia mullet.

Mike Johnson caught some red & black drum while fishing in the bays.
Hank from Charlotte, NC caught & released this 28 lb red drum while fishing for Virginia mullet using a spot rig & a #4 hook with a small piece of shrimp next to Bald Head at the mouth of the river. Surprise, surprise!!
