Around Southport on the bottom catching some whiting, small croaker, pigfish, small black bass, and stingrays.
Catching some red drum, black drum, and an occasional speckled trout in the bays.
It looks like the weather is finally starting to warm up. This will bring more bait fish our way. That is what will start bringing in flounder and other fish that we all like to catch. Keep fishing and stay safe.
