Cold, cold, cold. For those of you that have braved the temperatures you know there are a few speckled trout around in Carolina Beach basin & on the surf. There are good numbers of red drum around but it’s hard to get them to bite due to the water temperature. Also catching a few Virginia mullet & black bass around Southport. As soon as we get a few warm days the fish should start moving around a little more & start biting better. Hope everyone has a very merry Christmas. Keep fishing & stay safe.
