Strong Winds, Some Stripped Bass Around Wilmington

Even though the water temperature has gone up a little, there’s still not many fish biting. I normally get the inshore reports from my own fishing trips or from friends who are hard core year round fishermen. This past week the wind has been extra strong, especially offshore. I did see some stripped bass that were caught in a net up around Wilmington, as well as some catfish. That’s good news. I’m sure there would be a few drum also up around that area. Be sure to check out the article this week about skeet shooting. Lots of fun. Keep fishing and stay safe. Captain John Carty Affordable Charters
