Southport Charter Fishing
I fished today at Southport, N.C. wind was blowing hard out of the Northeast, so I ran to Southport,N.C. to do some Spanish Mackerel fishing bite was slow, managed to catch a few then went to live baiting menhaden, thats when the action picked up ! A Hammer Head Shark hit one of the baits, the fight lasted about 45 minutes with Darren Raffel on the rod, I have to say Darren did and outstanding job playing the shark for it ran him around the boat a number of times. I managed to tail rope the shark took a few pictures and released the shark. Another exciting day of fishing with the Cape Fear Guide – Capt.Mike Dennis
