Carolina Explorer 6-5 Report: We are catching redfish, flounder, trout, spanish, sharks and various others!!! Come get some of this great summer action..

Hello everyone… Sorry for the long delay in fishing reports, but we have been busy catching fish and having fun!!! We have had some Crazy weather the past month with Alberto and Byrle passing  just off the coast.  Inshore we have been catching red fish, flounder, a few trout and various bottom dwellers.  We have been catching the reds and flounder on live baits and lures. The baits have been mullet, pogies, and mudminnows. For lures we have been using Gulp shrimp and strike king minnows on 3/8 ounce jigheads. We have been landing a few reds on topwater plugs early in the morning or late evenings.  No matter how you want to fish, we have been catching them.  Just off the coast we have been catching plenty of spanish mackerel, blues, grey trout, croakers, sharks, and a few flounder.  We have been trolling for the spanish and blues, sometimes we can cast spoons to them if they are feeding on the surface.  The trout, croaker, flounder, and sharks have been biting while bottom fishing. Cut mullet, shrimp or live minnows have been working on the bottom.  Now is the time to call and book your trip today…. 910-264-1807!!!! Come down to the Carolina Coast and enjoy a great day on the water…
