Fishing Tip #6620: When the surf fishing is as slow as it has been this past week you need to fish a spot for a short time & then move to the next hole. It’s a good way to pick a flounder or 2 at a new spot . This will increase your catch on a slow day.

What’s Hit’n:

In the surf bluefish, red drum, small flounder, croaker & Virginia mullet.

Inshore red & black drum, still some large bluefish, speckled trout, flounder, black bass, Virginia mullet, & croaker.

On the piers flounder, bluefish, a few Virginia mullet, croaker, shark & Spanish mackerel.

Offshore on the bottom gag, red, & hognose grouper, snapper, black bass, lots of beeliner, grunt & shark.

Keep fishing & stay safe.
