Red Drum & Black Drum
I fished on November 28,this past Friday with mild temperatures, and sunny skies just a beautiful day to be on the water,Kevin Kim from Charlotte was on-board fishing with me.
I started out at Carolina Beach Inlet, catching red drum from 14″ to 16″ lot’s of action just not the legal slot size fish, all fish were released. We did manage to catch a good size black drum to put in the cooler. I headed down the Cape Fear River to fish along the rock wall just past Fort Fisher the Black Drum bite has been good since the water temperatures have dropped fish are being caught near oyster rocks and other structures along the the Cape Fear River.Kevin Kim caught a few more black drum for the cooler and said he wanted to bring his son next time for some more Cape Fear Guide Fishing !
