Flounders Are Getting Bigger
This is gonna be a short report because we’re in the middle of moving and will be a month or so before I can get a new one to you so here goes……… Flounders are getting bigger, still alot of small 13 and 14 inches being caught though. We’ve seen some nice red drum in the last few weeks, being caught in the river and waterway near docks. Pompano, blues, and some small flounder being caught in the surf. Whiting are a plenty too. Some trout being caught back in the river along with the red drum. The baits of choice seem to be mud minnows, finger mullet or cut mullet and shrimp. Over all fishings been pretty good in the last dew weeks, now if we could get the weather to cooperate we’d be doing good. Good luck fishin’ and remember, keep your worm wigglin’ Adam and Jennifer Burton B & B Bait and Tackle 1301 Bridge Barrier Rd. 910-458-4644
