Fishing Report nice flounder in the Cape Fear River
Inshore catching red & black drum, flounder, speckled trout, striped bass, Virginia mullet, spots, croakers, & stingrays.
On the piers catching spots, Virginia mullet, still a few flounder, bluefish, & black drum.
In the surf this past week was excellent conditions for large red drum. There were several caught due to the rough surf. Also lots of black drum & some nice sized Virginia mullet.
You can no longer keep 6 speckled trout. It has been reduced to 4. Keep fishing & stay safe.
