CB Spring fishing
CB Spring fishing is just around the corner. If you are thinking about a spring carolina beach fishing charter, now is the time to start planning your trips. Bluefish and Bonito will be here soon. Right now we are catching lots of whiting, speckled trout, and red drum. The trout and redfish fishing has improved with the warmer weather. Most of the fish have been caught on artificial lures and live shrimp. I have been pulling the shrimp net as part of the charter and everyone loves catching shrimp. The best part is using them for bait. Everyone has enjoyed the new trolling motor, It allows us to cover lots of ground and makes lure fishing a blast.
On our charters we have been having a blast catching lots of black sea bass and sharks. The Spiney sharks are here in great numbers. These sharks are 4 to 10 pounds and hard fighters on the light tackle. They are great to eat grilled or fried. All of this action takes place just a few miles off the Carolina Beach coast. The bluefish, bonito, and king mackerel will be moving in the next few month. Start planning those Spring fishing charters now. The light tackle makes catching the fish a great challenge that anyone can enjoy.
Tight lines and Remember to have fun fishing!!!!
