Wahoo And Dolphin Are Thick
There is so much going on I do not know where to begin. Offshore, Wahoo and Dolphin are thick and the weed lines about twelve miles out. As for Kings, well, just try catching a Spanish Mackerel. It’s nearly impossible for the number of Snake Kings and as for Spanish, they are just as thick and as for size, well, check out Zack Moores six and a half pounder. Both piers are catching lots of Spanish and small Blue Fish throughout the day. The early morning and late evening seem to be the best times. Use live bait. There are also Black Drum and Pompano around the piers. In the surf, there are lots of Blue Fish. Some big, and lots of small ones. Black Drum from one to seven pounds and lots of Pompano. I just can’t believe how good it got so quickly. We are seeing more and more Flounder. Each one we see seems to be getting just a little bigger. Some up to four pounds. I would say by the next full moon, we should see some citation sizes show up. For now, most of the Flounder are coming from the Inlet and waterway but with the amount of bait in the dredge whole, I suspect there are some nice flatties in the river also. Enjoy the pictures, I’m going fishing… Keep fishin and releasin… Steve and Karen Labanec Seagull Bait and Tackle 910-458-7135
