Thanks for reading the report.  The winter special fishing rates have kicked in. Heck if I like you we might just go fishing for free, or I might pay you.  How much money you got,  give me a call 910-264-1807. A little dock humor there.  We have been catching lots of redfish on stikeking glass minnows on a 3/8 jighead.  The darker colors have been working best.  The gulp alive shrimp has been producing some trout and reds as well.  Remember to fish slow, the fish are cold just like us.  On the extreamly cold days all the trout seemed to bite are live shrimp.  The redfish on the tough days like fresh dead shrimp or mudminnows.  Layer up, stay warm and have fun fishing.

If you want to fish around the Holidays give me a call and we will pick the best day for the  weather.

Happy Holidays

Nice cape fear speck,  caught on a Denny live shrimp.

“LostBoy” with a nice one.

I had the chance to go bass fishing with friend and guide Robbie Everett at Kingfisher Lake in Laural Hill.  This is one of 46 Bass I caught in one day.  Robbie had 58.  It is a trophy bass lake and they have plenty of big ones.  The average was between 4 to 7lbs.  Google Kingfisher lake on the web.

This was Sunday the 12th of December. The weatherman missed the forcast this morning.  It was semi-warm 50’s and the calmest winds all month.  20 slot fish with plenty of small ones.

Come on down and enjoy some great winter fishing.

Thanks

This was the sunset on 11-28 what a awesome site.  We had 12 specks, 15reds for the day and were catching fish during this sunset.  If you want to to see this for yourself give me a Call 910-264-1807.

My wife Carla with a nice redfish caught on a Gulp Alive. She loves to catch fish on lures.

Will with a great catch of Redfish, Trout, sheepshead, and black drum. He had help from the Peeler family as well with this catch.

Doug with a nice 20inch speck on a Gulp alive.

Cooter, Nick, and Duck with a nice catch of specks and reds.  My lights have never worked as good since I carried these guys fishing. Thanks Holiday electric.

Dean Holt with a nice 29inch redfish in the Elizabeth River.

Henry and Bill with 23 keeper specks on a evening trip.  We released this many more due to size and the limits at the time.

Another look a full table of trout and a few whiting.

Steve with a nice speck, fishing with his daughters.

These girls might look like their cold, but the redfish and trout keep them busy and warm. The guys at UNCW better watch out for the fisherwomen.

Robbie Everet of Abberdean bait-n-tackle with one of 43 redfish for the day. We slayed them.

Robbie and Charlie with 2 of 67 redfish in one day. We caught 110 redfish in 2 days. I had a great pattern and put Robbie a hardcore bassfisherman in the meat. All on lures, and we sightcast to some as well.

Robbie with a nice flounder to go with all the redfish.

A evening redfish on the 43 fish day. All I do is guide!! I fish on my days off, so I can put you on the fish when you call. 910-264-1807.

Harvey at 81 yrs young. He caught several reds and a few flounder. If I could get all my guys to fish as hard as he did, the sky would be the limit.  Looking foward to fishing with Harvey and Bod  this spring.

Bill Pipes with a nice slot sized redfish..

Rusty Pipes with a niced sized redfish. We caught 14 reds this day.

Dean and Surfer Dog on the way to the next redfish hotspot. I had to post this , what a great shot.

Ron with a nice 30inch redfish on 11-25, we had 15 this day.

Phil with a nice 25inch redfish on a norton sand eel. Sight cast to in the marsh.

I guide full time and on my days off I fish to stay on the fish.  If you want a professional trip give me a call 910-264-1807.  I lookfoward to putting you, your family and freinds on fish of a lifetime.
