Inshore we have had a great bite on red drum. Mostly slot sized fish with some over slot fish in the mix. We are catching them on live bait or jigs and gulp. If you want to throw a topwater early in the morning we can do that also. The flounder have been biting on live mullet or pinfish on a carolina rig. We have been catching them inshore or on the nearshore wrecks and reefs. We have also landed a few on jigs and gulps. The trout have been biting soft plastics and mirro-lures early in the morning. Just off the coast, we have had great catches of flounder, spanish mackerel, grey trout, bluefish, sharks, and lots of croakers. The flounder and grey trout have been biting mullet on carolina rigs. Sting silvers and buck tails will also fool these fish as well. The spanish and blues are heading south and feeding on the surface. Casting small spoons and reeling like crazy has produced the best action. We have also tangled with a few ladyfish as well.
