Carolina Explorer 10-25 Fishing report. We are catching redfish, whiting, flounder, bluefish, and trout. Come on down and enjoy some great fall fishing.
Hello everyone. Inshore we have been catching lots of small redfish and some nice slot sized fish as well. I have had everyone catching these fish on lures with no problem. Look at the pic, no matter the age or skill, I can guide you on a great fishing trip. We have been catching flounder and trout while fishing for the reds. Mostly on paddletail grub, Gulp, spinnerbaits, and live mud minnows.
Just off the beach lots of bluefish and a few stray spanish mackerel. The gray trout have been biting, along with croaker, pigfish, flounder, whiting, and spots. We have been casting spoons to the blues, and jigging for the trout. Bottomfishing with shrimp and mullet has produced the smaller fish.
Fall fishing is here and it should continue well into december. Remember the redfish are here all year.
Dana with a nice 29inch redfish caught on a roadrunner jig and a gulp tail. She caught the biggest fish of the trip. Her boyfriend Scott was thrilled. We landed 15 slot fish this day.
Dana with another red. This one fell for a gulp alive on a jighead.
Smith with a nice redfish, look at the great colors on this one. It fell for a gulp alive on a jighead.
Ernie with a fall redfish. He caught this on a gulp. It was the biggest catch of the day, until he hooked Dwyane in the arm. The medac in CB is the 1# place for hook removal, they even have a special drawer full of tools. They were in and out in under 15 minutes. They are still laughing about it and Ernie was glad to pic up Dwyanes bar tab. See you guys soon.
It was a pleasure to guide Nancy to several nice sized redfish. She caught this on a scented grub on a jig head. She claims she has not fished in a long time, well she caught more than her husband Bob. We had 17 redfish this day, mostly small guys with 7 slot sized fish.
Bob with his redfish. Look how he is holding it out to look bigger than the one Nancy caught. We all know this trick Bob.. He was thrilled to have a great day on the water, catching fish with his wife. See you next year.
Mr. Rober and I sightcasted to all these bluefish using spoons. we lost about this many close to the boat. We also release a few small reds this day as well..Fall fishing is here, where are you?
Great family fishing trip for the Parks family. We caught lots of whiting, bluefish, Pufferfish, and croakers. Dad wanted the kids to have non-stop action, so thats what we did. The kids had the best time making the puffer blow up and taking pictures. See ya’ll soon.
The Sparks family with a great catch of spanish and bluefish. We sightcast to these fish busting on the surface. Lots of fun on light tackle.
My dad, aka “LostBoy” with a nice redfish on the flats. We caught about 20 this day. Mostly slot fish with a few small guys in the mix. If you want to know what I do on a day off, well Go fishing with my Dad. We caught lots of fish and he took pics on his new Blackberry phone. Neither one of us is smart enough to put the pics from his phone in the right format to upload to this report. Better stick to fishing, not computers or fancy phones for me.
The Howertons with a nice catch of flounder, redfish, and blues on a afternoon 4hr trip.
Red shirt, Redfish, and big smile, mission accomplished.
