Carolina Explorer Charters Fishing Report

Carolina Explorer 10-15 Fall fishing is improving since the rain. Redfish, trout, and flounder. Fall fishing fun for everyone, not matter you fishing skill level.

Since the rain and the flood waters have settled, the fishing has recovered.  We are catching lots of small redfish with some slot sized fish mixed in. The black drum have shown up and they are good sized.  The trout has been hit or miss with some days being almost great.  The big flounder are around, but lots of small ones to keep you busy.

Just off the beach the flounder, gray trout, bluefish and a few spanish have been biting. The king mackerel have show up around the peirs. If you want a big fish close to shore, lets go live bait king fishing.  There are a few sharks around as well to keep the drags burning.

Louise with her first redfish ever.  Her husband Wesley fished with me several days and we had a blast, redfish, trout, and flounder. He wanted her to come along and catch some, She did, she caught more than Wesley.  I don’t know if I will see her next year, ha ha ha.

Reid and Jacob with the biggest fish of Jacobs live, a nice nc redfish.

Jacob with the biggest fish of his life again, two life milestones in one trip.  A great day for the 4yr old.  He is on his way to becoming a great fisherman.

Jacob with his first keeper flounder.  Remember not matter your skill level, I can put you on the fish. Great job Jacob.

Nice Carollina Beach Gray trout.  These are some great eating, hard fighting fish.

Archie and his boys had a great day on the atlantic sharpnose sharks.  We caught over 15 and kept our limit of 4.   These are some hard fighting drag burning light tackle sharks.  They are also great to eat.

Stickman and Triston had a great catch of gray trout, blues, sharks ringtails, and croaker on a father and son fishing trip.  It was no stop action and keep the guys busy the entire time.  The smiles tell it all. See you soon.

Dougs nice Black drum.  High winds don’t matter in the calm backwaters.

Another black drum for doug.  We caught several more, all released, so you can catch them on your trip. Doug didnt want to take fish home.

The fishing is improving and will get better with time. If you want to fish inshore of just off the beach, It is just one phone call away 910 264 1807.  Call and book your fall fishing trip today.
