Red drum bite is not own fire right now but we are catching some 24″ to 27″ slot size fish everyone one own board to day caught a real nice red drum.I am fishing for the next five days straight expecting to really start homing in on the red drum. Now is the time to go ahead and book for July while I still have some open dates this is time time of the year where I can really put you own the red drum ! My next open date is Saturday June 11TH. Flounder,Red Drum & Speckle trout are biting in the backwaters of the Cape Fear River,live menhaden on carolina rigs are the best bait going right now.Inshore fishing is still a little slow this season,but that’s just fishing,we fished hard this morning managed to catch a large speckle trout,which we had to release,season is closed on speckle trout till June 15Th.
