Cape Fear Guide Fishing Report

Red Drum fishing was real exciting this morning,bite was steady with one fish on,double hook-ups,land the fish,put baits out hooked up again,and so on.I had three people on the boat that had never even seen a red fish before this morning,they are hooked on catching red fish now! Its really fun to see a young angler catching fish,and see the excitement in his expression,when he lands a big fish,and says let’s get another one.

  

I fished this morning right here in the Carolina Beach area,found flounder in the Carolina Beach Inlet,went to Snow’s Cut  Bridge fished the peak of the tide, Bill Neely caught an over the slot size red drum 27 1/2″ long, fish was released to fight another day !
