Cape Fear Guide Fishing Report

North Carolina red drum fishing was exciting yesterday the Cape Fear Guide found a number of over the slot size reds,giving his charter some great light tackle action,these reds hit hard and did not want to give up !
Live bait in the Cape Fear River is plentiful,small menhaden are in large schools,just look for the pelicans diving,these are what the reds are feeding on right now.
Flounders are biting at the mouths of the smaller creeks along the Cape Fear River,along with the speckle trout.
Now is the time to book with the Cape Fear Guide,the months of July,August are historically the months the red drum action is hot along the Cape Fear River.
