Affordable Charters Fishing Report

In the surf we are still catching speckled trout on mirror lures. Also catching puppy drum and Virginia mullet with shrimp on bottom rigs.
In the Cape Fear around downtown Wilmington we are catching some stripped bass around the 9 to 15 lb range while trolling.

The water temperature has really dropped due to the cold weather we’ve had. This pretty well puts a halt to fishing.
