Affordable Charters Fishing Report

The windy cold weather we’ve had has caused the water temperature to take quite a drop. This has slowed down the bite a good bit.

On the piers still catching a few spot, Virginia mullet, bluefish, flounder, black drum, red drum, blowfish, & croaker.

Inshore flounder, speckled trout, red & black drum, Virginia mullet, croaker, gray trout, & black bass.

In the surf red drum speckled trout, small flounder, black drum, blowfish, & Virginia mullet.

Offshore no report.

Got-em-on held its 2008 year end banquet & awards ceremony on Saturday 11-22-08. Part of the celebration was dedicated to this years flounder points tournament. 1st place went to Fred Davis. 2nd Neil Clark, 3rd Tom Fulp, 4th Willard Dudley, 5th Tammy Gainey, 6th Mike Norris. Tied for 7th Debbie Harrill, Ken Pearson, & April Ingram. 10th Dean Hill. Ted Connor was recognized for catching the largest flounder weighing 12 pounds.
