Affordable Charters Fishing Report

There are still a few Virginia mullet at the mouth of the Cape Fear River. I fish most of the time around Bald Head Island. If I don’t have much luck on trout or drum it’s normally a sure thing at the mouth of the river using a spot rig with small pieces of shrimp. Keep fishing & stay safe.

Inshore we are catching a few red drum, black drum, speckled trout, striped bass, & catfish. In the surf quite a few spiny dogfish, small Virginia mullet, red drum, & speckled trout. Offshore no report.
